Ellina Johnson, Owner/Head Baker
Ellina was born and raised in Los Angeles. Her excitement for baking started back in 2019 however baking didn’t become consistent practice until 2021 while on her own health journey. She wanted to provide fresh organic sourdough breads for her family—knowing that food that is prepared with time, effort, care, and awareness around health is akin to one’s happiness and well-being. The passion for providing quality sourdough breads and desserts has become part of her daily life and apart of Lunetta Bakery.
Liv DeSilva, Head Assistant Baker
Liv DeSilva is originally from Flagstaff, AZ and moved to Maui in 2020. Her passion for food and baking started as a young girl while helping her grandmother in the kitchen. She believes there is something magical about creating delicious and artistic foods to share with friends and family. Over the years this passion has evolved into working with sourdough at home, which ultimately led her to joining the Lunetta. She has become an invaluable member of the Lunetta Bakery team.
